ISAIAH 40:26-31

ISAIAH 40:26-31

Read the text.

In our text, the nation Israel was having trouble, and thought that God had forsaken them. Vs. 27

In the midst of all that we are facing, you may feel like God has forsaken or forgotten us in general and you in particular. You feel alone. You wonder when you are ever going to get some relief from the increasing difficulties in your life. You may be wondering if anything will ever be “normal” again.

In answer to that feeling in Vs. 27, in verse 28, God says to Israel:

“Have you not known? Have you not heard?” or

“Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard.”

In the midst of our troubles when we feel forsake he says, “Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard.”
