MARK 9:1-10 – MOUNTAIN OF GLORY

On the Heights – God’s Marvelous Mountains! #3

d Jesus Claim to be God? Yes!

Did Jesus Ever Show Himself to be God?

  • He calmed the storm. He walked on water.
  • He fed 5,000 men plus women and children.
  • He made the sick well, the blind to see, the lame walk, and the dead alive.
  • He accepted worship.
  • He rose from the dead! He ascended into Heaven.

And one of the greatest displays of his deity took place on a Mountain, probably Mount Hermon which is about 9,000 feet high!

We have been talking about “On the Heights, God’s Marvelous Mountains.”

  • Moriah – Mountain of Faith – Abraham
  • Carmel – Mountain of Power, Mountain of Prayer, Elijah
  • Hermon – Mountain of Glory – Transfiguration
