Description

1 Timothy 4:12-16 – THEY NEED IT TOO!

RECORDED BECAUSE OF COVID19 FOR 4-19-2020

We live in unusual times. This is a situation which none of us has encountered before. This pandemic is like nothing we have faced in our lifetimes. Almost everything is shut down, including all schools. Unemployment is running rampant, and there is the potential for everyone of us to catch this virus. Hospitals are concentrating on the Corona Virus. There are quarantines, and older people are especially vulnerable, and many have passed away.

There are lots of people to pray for:

  • Those who have the disease.
  • Those who have been exposed to the disease, and are quarantined
  • Family members who are caring for those with the disease
  • Those in the hospital who are not allowed visitors
  • Family and friends who have those in the hospital whom they cannot visit
  • Family and friends who need surgery for other things and cannot have what is now considered elective surgery.
  • Health care professionals who are being exposed to the virus
  • People who are unemployed
  • Government leaders at all levels, especially the President, Congress, and governors.
  • First Responders who are also vulnerable.

As we are swamped with so many people needing prayer, there is a group of people we may forget, but they need it too! That is our pastors and Spiritual Leaders. They need prayer now and always. Most of you may mention your pastors and church leaders in your prayers, but I would like to give you an idea of why and how to pray based on 1 Timothy 4:12-16. Paul tells Timothy, a relatively young pastor what is required of him as Spiritual leader. If we know what is required of our leaders, then we know how to pray for them.
